6x8 inch canvas (any size will work for this painting) I get my small canvases from Blick Art Supply. https://www.dickblick.com/products/blick-premier-cotton-canvas/

I use Golden paints but if you don't want to spend that much on paint Liquitex Basics are a good alternative. I used them for years before switching to Golden.

You don't have to use the same paint colors that I did - any yellows and blues should work for this painting but if you want to use what I did, here is my list.
Titanium white
Turquoise phthalo
Payne's gray
Benz yellow (aka Hansa yellow)
Indian yellow hue
Raw sienna
Quinacridone red

**Golden paints can be expensive.  If you are looking for a good student grade acrylic you might try Liquitex Basics.  A good palette to start with would be Primary Red, Primary Yellow, Phthalo Blue, Light Blue Permanent, White, and Black.

Easy Flower Painting Tutorial on Patreon for Beginner Artists

I love the dramatic dark background against the bright flowers.
