Learn how to paint a colorful abstract landscape painting from a reference photo! This is a beginner friendly painting class! I start off with a color mixing demo. I show you how I mix green, gray, and brown paint colors that I regularly use in my landscape paintings. I also teach you why color bias is important to understand when mixing your own paint.

Next I’ll show you how I sketch in the big shapes that I see in my reference photo, and slowly build up layers and details.
