October Update! New Paintings and a Skillshare Class

Hello!

I’m updating my shop today with 8 of my recent paintings. They will be available at 10 AM EST on my website, www.ellebyers.com.

I’ve really enjoyed painting these! They are a little bigger than my usual paintings. They range in size from 11 x 14 inches to 20 x 24 inches.

I'm really excited for tomorrow's painting release!

I've been working hard behind the scenes to photograph and upload 30 of my recent paintings to my online shop. They will be available tomorrow, September 1st, at 10 EST on www.ellebyers.com. Abstract Landscape Study with Acrylic Paint | Trying to Loosen Up and Simplify the Landscape

This was a fun exercise in trying to loosen up and simplify the landscape. The hardest thing for me to do is simplify but I’m happy with the way this little abstract landscape study turned out and I think I’ll be painting more of these in the future.

This little painting is 6x8 inches and was painting with acrylics on canvas.

Pilea Peperomia Painting

I painted a Pilea Peperomia on an 8 x 10 inch canvas with acrylic paint! I’ve been wanting to play around with new subjects and I thought house plants would be a good place to start since I have so many of them.
