Technically I started this one last week but I finished it last night so I’m calling it my daily painting for August 12.
Here’s my daily flower painting from today. I decided to change up my color palette a bit. I’m loving the pink, purple, and pops of red.

I’ve got a new painting class that I’m really excited about! This painting was inspired by my trip to Italy this summer. I filled my sketch book with drawings of the Tuscan countryside and I just turned one of those drawings into an abstract landscape painting.
This class is for beginners. I will walk you through the whole painting process stey by step. At the end of this class you will have all the skills necessary to create your own abstract landscape painting!

I’m so happy with the way my new painting class turned out! In this class I teach you how to paint bright, loose abstract flowers on canvas with acrylic paint. You can follow my process step by step or you can come up with your own composition and colors once you feel more confident.
In this class I walk you through my whole painting process from start to finish. All of the supplies and paint colors I used are listed in the “About” tab below the video. I created a new Skillshare class this week, “Learn How to Paint a Colorful Pineapple with Acrylic Paint!” Flowers are my usual subject matter but I’ve been experimenting this week and I was pretty happy with the way my pineapple turned out so I thought I’d share it with you.
This class is for beginners. I start off the class by showing you the supplies that I am using. I have listed all of the paint colors I used below the video but feel free to change it up and create your own unique palette! I also show you how I sketch my pineapple onto my canvas using a pencil. Then I walk you through the process of outlining the image, blocking in your colors, and adding highlights.
